UPPER LEATHER
The upper leather is made by Sanyo Co., Ltd., located in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture.
Each piece of Brightway leather is made by Japan's oldest tannery, with over 100 years of history.
INNER LEATHER
The pig leather lining and insole, which are highly breathable and absorbent, are made by Fukushima Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. in Sumida Ward, Tokyo.
They have a consistent production system from raw hides to tanning, and produce leather exclusively for Brightway.
INSOLE
Important insoles that support the invisible foot
The inside of the sneakers contains board material made by Murai Co., Ltd., which uses insoles for shoe factories all over Japan.
Leather Counter
The heel core material is called the moon shape, which supports an exquisite heel fit.
At brightway, we use genuine leather core material called leather counter, which is made by NX Nakamura Co., Ltd. in Sumida Ward, Tokyo.
